On 13 April 2026, asphalt industry stakeholders under the Indonesian Asphalt Association held a meeting and presentation with the Directorate General of Highways as an initial step to introduce the association and strengthen communication with infrastructure policymakers. During the meeting, the association introduced its profile, objectives, and member supply point coverage across Indonesia.

The association also presented asphalt supply conditions and price dynamics influenced by global geopolitical developments, while emphasizing the importance of coordination to maintain material availability. In addition, the association outlined plans for sustainable asphalt product and technology development to improve quality, efficiency, and industrial competitiveness.

This meeting is expected to become the beginning of closer synergy with the government in supporting national infrastructure development.
